Smoking is ranked as the most harmful factor for health, specifically for diabetics and people with weak immune system. Cigarettes contain nicotine as a main ingredient which leads to narrowing and hardening of small and large blood vessels in the body. Due to this blood flow is affected in the body, causing heart problems.
Diabetics have very weak immune system hence they are prone to harmful effects of smoking. Smoking might increase the risk of diseases like: heart strokes, kidney problems, damage of nerve system and many more in a diabetes patient. Therefore, quit the habit of smoking to stay healthy and lessen the chances of any heart disease. There more benefits of not smoking and would help you quit smoking.
The chances of a long life is increased because your health is at a better stage.
There are fewer chances of getting lung diseases like frequent coughing, poor immune system and throat infections.
