What are the symptoms of diabetes? You should better know about it





Diabetes is a growing concern day by day due to which most of the people in the world are suffering from. In general, Diabetes is known as Diabetes mellitus, which is simply referred to as diabetes. Diabetes is a condition in which a person suffers from high blood sugar level that is the glucose, as their body does not create much insulin or else because the body cells do not respond properly to the insulin that is been produced.

In one or the other way, people suffer heavily due to this condition in which insulin plays a vital role. Insulin is actually a hormone that is produced in the pancreas. It allows the body cells to take in glucose that could be further transformed into energy. This process is very much important for our body to function properly. However, if the body cells are not capable of absorbing the glucose, then the glucose finally starts gathering in the blood that is called as hyperglycemia, which then leads to nerve, vascular, and some other sort of complications.

Diabetes is of many different types, but the most ordinary type of Diabetes are:

  • Type 1 diabetes:

    Type 1 diabetes occurs as the body no more able to produce the insulin, making the person to receive insulin by injecting it into the body.

  • Type 2 diabetes:

    Type 2 diabetes occurs from the insulin resistance. It is a condition in which the body cells fail to absorb or use the insulin as it should be. Sometimes this results into a total insulin deficiency.

  • Gestational diabetes:

    Gestational diabetes occurs in pregnant women. It occurs when she never had diabetes in her life before, suddenly faces high blood sugar level during her pregnancy course.

Apart from these three and major types of diabetes, there are many other types exists. Some of them include congenital diabetes that occurs due to genetic imperfections of insulin secretion, steroid diabetes that is encouraged by the high doses of glucocorticoids, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, and many forms of monogenic diabetes.

Before people know what exactly diabetes is, they remains curious to know what are the symptoms of diabetes is. Well, everyone should know about this fact, as today, diabetes is a rising concern. Normally, in both the types of diabetes, symptoms are very much similar because the blood sugar level remains high in both. However, the symptoms could be identifiable through the definite signs and symptoms if the cells do not possess sufficient glucose. In Type 1 diabetes, one will experience nausea and vomiting, which is the primary symptom occurs due to the pancreas that stops producing insulin.

Later, one could witness the fast weight loss of the body, as it starts breaking down the muscle tissue and fat for producing energy. At this stage, one will also experience dehydration due to the electrolyte disturbance. Moving ahead on the stages, the person suffering from such problems will later face coma and at last death. This is what the Type 1 diabetes functions in the body slowly. However, in Type 2 diabetes, there are several symptoms that one should be aware of. You may wonder what are the symptoms of diabetes, but you never know how it will affect you and in which type. So keeping the knowledge of such things become very much important.

Some of the Type 2 diabetes symptoms that one suffers or faces are increased fatigue, polydipsia, polyuria, polyphegia, weight fluctuation, blurry vision, infection, irritability, and poor wound healing. Even though diabetes can be controlled, one should know how to control it and how one could stay away from this condition.
